Part of my graduation thesis: A project that turns innovators of their field into rock stars, by literally depicting them as stars.
Keiko Fukuda, dressed as an early Japanese pop idol, shares the same conflict as idols do: choosing between marriage and career. She gave up marriage to practice judo, and eventually became the highest ranking female judoka in history.
