Part of my graduation thesis: A project that turns innovators of their field into rock stars, by literally depicting them as stars.
Trina Robbins started as a comic book writer, participating in the 70s underground comix movement. She’s created some of the first outlets for female comic creators. DIY ethics and anti-establishment sentiments are important to her early work as well as punk rock.
